Madanan now recreating a period scene was so busy documenting the various vignettes of the KA FEST. Youngsters were often seen mobbing around this small speaking frail man in adulation.

Occasionally, a VIP writer would pose before us in silnce  .. Here, Sri. NS Madhavan.

MADANAN and the 2 Gireeshs of Mathrubhumi

MADANAN, staff artist for Mathrubhumi Publications was one person I desperately wanted to meet in person. It finally happened today breaching the occasional exchange of telephonic smiles extending over years. Feel very happy to meet this self-effacing gentleman artist of abundant talent!

 I had not met before Girish Makreri too, my co caricaturist on the last two days. Floored me with his 16 minute short film MULLAANCHI (2019) throwing light on the desperations of an Adivasi mother and child to cling on to life, that won 82 accolades worldwide.

 Gireesh Kumar, my co-caricaturist during the last two days too surprised me
with his 6 minute short film MIRA on child abuse.
